Henedo is where your digital life meets your real legacy. Documents, passwords, crypto keys, photos, journals, and your will. All encrypted, all organized, all passed to the right people when the time comes.

Getting Started
Three simple steps.That's it.
No lawyers, no paperwork, no complexity. You can be up and running in under five minutes.
1
Store what matters
Upload documents, photos, videos, passwords, crypto keys, and more. Everything is encrypted on your device before it ever leaves. We never see your data.
2
Choose who gets access
Add trusted contacts like family, friends, or a lawyer. Decide who sees what. They get a physical NFC card or a secure digital code.
3
Set your continuity switch
If you stop checking in, your contacts are automatically notified and given access. You control the timing: 6 months, 1 year, whatever feels right.
Everything Included
Every tool you need, working as one.
Each feature is designed to work together so nothing falls through the cracks. Click any feature to explore what it can do.
Bundled UX, modular internals: the will builder, vault encryption, dead-man's switch, canary detector, transparency verifier, contact-PII layer, and Eternal Vault signer are seven independent subsystems sharing only NIST-standard primitives. A bug in one cannot leak data from another. Read the architecture page for the failure-mode matrix.

What inheritors see
A chronological story, not just a folder of files.
When the dead-man's switch fires, your trusted contacts unlock a guided experience, not a file dump. Personal message first, journal viewer with date and media playback second, file browser third. Per-recipient routing means your spouse sees what you tagged for them; your child sees what you tagged for them.
01
Personal message
Your introduction or final words. Played back before any files are listed. The first thing they see is you, not a directory.
02
Journal viewer
Chronological entries with native voice and video playback. Browse by year, month, or day. Your weekly voice notes become a 100-entry narrative.
03
File browser
Insurance, deeds, crypto recovery phrases, photos, organized by folder. Search by name or type. Decryption is per-file under the inheritor key.
04
Stats cards
Total photos, total voice minutes, total video minutes, total documents, so they understand the scope before they start.
05
Expiry banner
60-day countdown for the Living Vault. Eternal Vaults remain accessible for their full preservation duration.
Security
Your data.Your keys. Period.
Henedo uses zero-knowledge encryption. That means we literally cannot see your files, read your journal, or access your passwords, even if someone ordered us to.
Zero-Knowledge
Your password never leaves your device. Files are encrypted locally before upload. We store ciphertext, which is meaningless without your key.
AES-256-GCM
The same encryption standard used by governments and military. Every file gets its own unique encryption key, wrapped by your master key.
Post-Quantum Ready
We're already preparing for quantum computers. AES-256 and Argon2id are quantum-resistant. Your data stays safe for decades.

Questions
Common questions.Everything you want to know.
Most users complete the will, upload their first documents, and add a trusted contact in under 15 minutes.
Nothing happens for the first 180 days (default). Then you receive three escalating warning emails over 5 weeks. At any point, a single login resets the timer. Contacts are only activated if the full cascade expires.
Yes, unlimited updates are included on Guardian, Legacy, and Eternal Vault plans. Life changes (marriage, new child, property purchase) are reasons to revisit; the platform reminds you annually.
Only you, while you are alive and checking in. Contacts hold their per-person key but the platform blocks access until the continuity switch fires and the grace period ends. Henedo employees never see plaintext.
Your Eternal Vault uses open encryption standards documented inside the vault itself, with the optional M-DISC physical backup as an extra redundancy layer (ISO/IEC 10995:2011/ECMA-379, rated up to 1,000 years per U.S. DoD projection). Your data does not depend on the company being around.
No. Henedo practises active preservation, the same discipline used by the Library of Congress, national archives, and other archival institutions. Primary storage is geo-redundant: encrypted blobs are replicated across multiple regions on a current-generation cloud object store, with continuous SHA-3 fixity checks. Roughly every 10 years the underlying drives, formats, and infrastructure are migrated to current technology, so your data never ages with the hardware. M-DISC is an extra redundancy layer (ISO/IEC 10995:2011, up to 1,000 years), never the only copy.
